They say rain on your wedding day is good luck.  By the looks of this stunning wedding, we say it is true!  Samantha was positively radiant on her big day and her new husband was beaming from ear to ear!  The Breakfast at Tiffany's theme was so beautifully shown in all the details from the bride's Rebecca Schoneveld gown to the breathtaking floral arrangements by the Secret Gardener.  Congratulations to you both, we wish you a life of joy!

Leslie and Andrew celebrated the union of their families at Pear Tree Estates in Champaign, IL.  At their side were Leslie's two children: Ryanne and Braden.  The crisp spring weather was perfect for Leslie to wear a shawl from Andrew's grandmother who had recently passed.  We especially loved the airy color palette the couple incorporated into the big day.  Congratulations to this wonderful duo and we wish them many years of happiness!

What to do with your gown after the Wedding

What to do with your gown after the Wedding

What to do with your wedding gown?

You find your perfect dress.  It is AMAZING.  It makes you feel the same way your significant other does.  And then you get to wear it on your big day!  You feel so many things:  radiant, beautiful, perfect.

But after the big day, what do you do with that gorgeous gown?  So many of us will have it cleaned and preserved for enjoyment by future generations.  But before you do, how about you do one quick photo session?

So many photographers are now offering boudoir shoots for couples and it could be the most fantastic addition to your wedding portfolio (whether you set it out on public display depends on you!).  Imagine dimmed lights, you looking super sexy, and feeling everything you felt on your big day all over again.  Peek over some of these images below of wedding gowns for some after wedding inspo!

There will always be something about lace that is classically beautiful for weddings.  But today, there are so many more fabrics which can make a woman feel bridal and sexy!  Today, we want to highlight crepe.  This fabric has a wonderful stretch to it, allowing it to wrap around the body in all the right places.  Below, we have a few examples of how this gorgeous material can be enjoyed.

First, we love this plunging sweetheart shaped V-neckline.  French crepe has a bit more weight to it, making it possible to hug without showing all the little spots ladies don't want on display.  Not to mention, this train is BANANAS.

Next up is a similar V neck style but with a cap sleeve embellished in delicate crystals.  Not only does it have a gorgeous top, but this designer also added subtle seams under the bootie to really highlight the "assets."

Lastly, this gown is for the girls who like to surprise their guests!  This modest front neckline is classic and demure, but when you turn, a plunging backline is displayed.  Who doesn't love a hot surprise!

Lace is timeless.  It has that classic feeling which makes almost any woman feel like a bride.  Until currently, there has been one predominant type.  Not anymore!  Modern laces come in so many styles, widths, and designs.  Today, we are highlighting some of our favorite types of statement lace.

We are positively dying for this laser cut crepe which is designed to look like lace.  Why choose between your two favorite fabrics when you can have both!

Next up is a French lace which is created to mimic a vintage crocheted pattern.  With the large designs in the lace, you can really get some phenomenal pictures!

If you are a bride who wants to be a bit edgier, this next lace is perfect!  A large guipure lace in a floral design really gives a wedding dress some POP!  We love it is avaialbe in a tanned and a more traditional ivory.

Lastly, a delicate lace can be just as statement making when set on a modern bridal gown.  Here, we have a modest cut-out at the midriff to give a peek-a-boo without too much on display!
